About the Friends
Friends of the Alexander Technique is a participative organisation – for people who use the Alexander Technique in any aspect of their lives.
Our aim is to encourage a sense of community amongst people at all levels of experience in the Alexander Technique - with a view to providing support for those who are learning, living and teaching these ideas, and to inspire others to become interested in them.
Friends of the Alexander Technique is a registered UK Charity and is fully supported by the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT).
The Trustees of the Friends are all former Chairs of STAT.
